We had a nice afternoon at the Ft. Worth Zoo this weekend. Papa Mike joined us to visit the elephants, giraffes, and other cool animals. Paisley really enjoyed the elephants as they pushed around several big balls and threw sand on themselves.
We've been playing with all of her animals from the little people Noah's Ark, so she's familiar with a many of the animals we saw. However, all animals were "dogs" because, as everyone knows, nearly all living things besides Dad and sometimes Mom are "dogs" in Paisley's mind :)... We had a great time!

Can we play outside?
Paisley enjoys looking outside when we have the blinds pulled up in the kitchen. We didn't think she could reach the doorknob, but quickly realized we may have a problem on our hands sooner than we thought.

The many faces of Paisley...
Goofy girl... She realized at some point during this meal that she didn't like the hard plastic bib I put on her. It went downhill from here.

Big Week!
Not only has Paisley decided to walk (intermittently at best) this week, she's also survived her first ear infection. We definitely consider ourselves blessed to have made it more than 13 months before encountering our first sickness, but it sure isn't fun!! She's handled it well, in spite of also cutting 3 molars while fighting this ear infection. Yuck!

We are walking...kind of...

Paisley and her sunglasses. She only leaves them on for a few seconds but loves to play with them.
We are walking now but only when Paisley feels like it...and that isn't too often. She does have the ability to do it though because she has shown us several times that she can take around 5 steps at a time, but really she would just rather crawl at this point.
Dane (above) and Jarrett (below) came to visit last week. Everyone got along great and good times were had by all.
